Nursing Home Negligence & Medical Malpractice
A South Georgia native, Casey L. Gray represents individuals and families across Georgia who have been harmed by nursing homes, hospitals, and healthcare providers. She has spent her career representing plaintiffs in complex injury and medical negligence cases and continues to build a practice focused on accountability, clarity, and results.

Her practice focuses on serious injury and wrongful death cases where the consequences are life-altering and the answers matter. She approaches each case with a clear objective: understand what happened, determine why it happened, and hold the right people accountable.

Recognition & Experience

Casey has been selected to Super Lawyers Rising Stars (2025–2026), a distinction awarded to a small percentage of attorneys for professional achievement and peer recognition.

She regularly speaks to trial lawyers in Georgia and nationally on nursing home negligence and litigation strategy, focusing on how to build cases that lead to meaningful results.

Early in her career, Casey clerked for Justice David Nahmias of the Supreme Court of Georgia, where she gained insight into how courts evaluate complex legal arguments.

Her work in this area has also been published in Plaintiff’s magazines.

Practice Focus
  • Nursing Home Abuse & Neglect
  • Medical Malpractice
  • Wrongful Death
  • Serious Personal Injury

Her cases often involve preventable harm, often to the most vulnerable among us left in situations where something was missed, ignored, or allowed to happen when it should not have.

Approach To Litigation

Most cases focus on what happened.

Casey focuses on why it was allowed to happen and whether it could have been prevented.

She looks beyond surface explanations to identify the breakdowns that led to harm and builds each case with that understanding from the start. That approach drives strategy, shapes discovery, and positions cases for meaningful resolution or, when necessary, trial.

That means identifying corporate control over staffing and operations, analyzing internal policies, audit trails, and reporting failures, and using data (including staffing and medical records systems) to expose patterns, not excuses.

Outside The Office

Outside of her work, Casey is deeply grounded in her family and close-knit circle of friends. As a mother, she understands that the cases she handles are not just about legal claims; they are about people, relationships, and the lasting impact of loss or injury on a family.

She understands that every case represents a family dealing with loss, uncertainty, or a sudden change in their lives. Her clients are not files or case numbers. They are people who trusted someone to do the right thing and are now left dealing with what happens when that trust is broken.

That understanding shapes how she communicates, how she prepares her cases, and how she advocates for the people she represents.

A Perspective That Drives The Work

Ms. Gray is both personally and professionally motivated to ensure her clients have a fierce and well-represented voice. She strives to live and practice by the words of her favorite quote, “Every time we turn our heads when we see the law flouted, when we tolerate what we know to be wrong, when we close our eyes and ears to the corrupt because we are too busy or too frightened to speak out, we strike a blow against freedom and decency and justice.” ~ Robert Kennedy, 1961.
